Due to the influx of other alchemy tools around and other projects that I have going on I’m no longer providing updates for the skyrim alchemy tool.  It’s been really good to have this project to work on and it’s been nice to have your contributions to make it a better tool.  All the current versions will still be available to download though.

Keep tuned for other projects that I develop (I hope to have one coming for FFXIII-2 in February!) and Merry Christmas to you all!

Sorry, everyone for the delays for the next update.  I’ve had a lot of personal things happen this week and I’ve been a little overwhelmed with that and university work.  An update is coming, and the interactive version is making progress as are localisations.

I hope to have an update available soon for you all.

Just to let you know where I’m at in improving this, my to-do list is just below:

To-do list:
Add interactive version to allow users to state what they ingredients they own;
Add a list of recipes with 2, 3 and 4 effects;

Let me know if there’s anything missing that you think should be included!

So we’re now on version 2.1 of the helper and, thanks to everyone’s comments, it’s coming along as a really useful program!  I’ve plans for an interactive section, hopefully combined but optional, for those of you that want to specify which ingredients you have and get a more personal experience using it.

• View All Items page is now sortable by columns. Click once for ascending, twice for descending.
• Double click an item name or effect in View All Items and it will display the details.
• Common locations are now shown for every ingredient.
• A slight layout change to allow for future interactive compatibility.

The mac compatibility may be missing in this version!  Let me know if this is the case and I’ll see if I can fix it!

• When the application is full screen the complete list of ingredients table now takes up the whole screen
• A button is on the main page to allow you to check to see if there are any updates (requires internet connection)
• When viewing an item you’ll now see if there are ones you should preferentially pair it with to get the most effects discovered
• The program has been compiled with Mono Framework support – no guarantees it will work with macs at the moment as I haven’t got anywhere to test it

I just want to say a huge thank you for your feedback!  It’s much appreciated and I’m loving reading and acting upon the comments and suggestions that you’re giving me.  The amount of downloads I’ve got in the past day is outstanding – it’s currently at 1,300+.

I’ve got a small update for you, just implementing some of the quick, little things before I get started on the new features.
